If you put your awning out and hold the button down will it roll up the wrong way? Wife put it out so it could dry after last nights rain and discovered that it will keep going and roll up the wrong way. I thought it had a stop switch.
Also how do you clean in between the shower and the sink cabinet? This is in a 36RL.

Yes the awning starts rolling back up the other way but I've never let it happen go to far. In theory I guess it does.

As for cleaning between the shower and sink.....this sucks. Try using a paint brush taped to a stick to get the dust out of there. I keep a coat hanger hanging all straightened out in the closet for retrieving the little things that fall in that area. Is is one part of their design that needs changed.

We wedged a towel between the vanity and shower to keep things from falling inbetween. As for cleaning, how about someone with very, very long and slender fingers?

We use a yard stick (dating my self) and swing/wrap a damp wash cloth around and bang. Done. The stick also works for the exhaust vent tabs, and pushing the fan blade up when closing the slides. Sits well in the entry closet.

What is this with the fan blade issue when closing the slide? I can't believe the design team would allow this to go thru without objecting. I know I have to be careful when closing my slide. Does anyone have a "fix" for this?

I've been told you can slightly bend the metal arms that the blades screw into. It only has to be raised a 1/4 inch to not hit the slide.

I guess they could rip the crown molding that's on top of the slide so it's just a little shorter.

We have the same issue with the fan. I just make sure that the blades do not hit the top of the slide trim dead on the outer end of the blade, sort of balance (Position) the blades towards the front and back of the room. you will still make contact but the blades will move with the slide. I make sure I am watching and go slow.

Thats also a good idea. Just make sure you do all the blades the same or you will end with a warp wabble. They should make a trim ajustment as you say...

Say that 3 times fast........

Rick,

my trailer is at the factory now and the fan is one thing on the list to fix. Even after they fix it, if it still looks too close I think I'll take the crown molding down and rip it on my table saw. Then I won't have to worry about it even when parked at an angle.

I have the HH and do not have an issue with the fan and the slide. Must have fixed it when they designed this model this year.

That was one of the 100 plus problems, todate on our junk. They replaced the fan with a lower profile unit and had to replace the center crown moulding as it had grooves worn in itand chips out of it, from the fan blade moving and hitting while traveling. plus the blades had worn spots. The door side crown moulding is now about to fall off as the slide is out of alignment.

If we put the awning on the slide, all the way out, we need one person to push on it, withanother one operating the switch or it won't come in.
This might be item #110.
