Updated Look and Feel

A lot of web admins are updating the look and feel of their sites and was wondering if the same thing might be under consideration here.

I've seen it done with something as a 'relatively' simple as a new CSS and a some background work.

In the coming year we will be moving the forum to a new software platform. At that time there will be some redesign work done to gussy up the forum look.

Do you know if the upgrade will include support for uploading .wav files? I was thinking that people could post recording of the noises they're trying to explain and make it easier for folks to help. Obviously this has potential for abuse and, I guess if it gets out of hand, you could pull the support. Just make it an object and pull the object from the site if you have to.

Most people already use Youtube for that. Easy enough to post Youtube videos here already.

Not completely sold on that. Too much channel advertisement but get the point.

Some people like to post 'read my blog so I get web traffic' on this site. Same difference?

Seeking to isolate it to the forum and not make it an extension to other people's money making schemes.

Have the Admins heard anything back on the updates that were to occur this year? Year-end is quickly approaching. Guessing it ran into a few snags?
