USB ports not working

Two of our USB ports are not working on our 2024 Freedom Traveler. Also, when we put out the awning it appears the motor is really struggling. Almost didn't get the awning back in. Any suggestions?

On a 2024, take it to the dealer for warranty repairs.

USB ports where?

The awning motor always sounds like it's struggling on our ACE with a 17' awning. Hasn't failed yet though.

One is above the couch and the other one is in our bedroom right as you walk in. The two by the bed work fine.

Thor is notorius for wiring 12 VDC USB ports backwards. Remove from wall, check for 12 VDC and swap leads to see if that helps.

I have a bag full of orginal thor usb ports. I have found you have to push hard to make a connection (and jiggle) on thor bought usb sockets most of time when chasing usb bugs.

Do u see any tiny green light on the usb face plates?

The two that don’t work do not have green lights. The two that work have a green light.

We are in WV heading home tomorrow. When we are back in WI, we will do that and I will let you know. Really appreciate the ideas.

I have had the same problem with USB ports slow charging. Going to check the wire connections and switch.

We have put a meter and no power. The USB ports are wired just like the two that work. They are not getting power. Tested USB ports when not connected and can get the green light to come on so don’t believe it is the ports. When we have time, will take it in to be corrected as it is under warranty, just thought it would be an easy fix.

I just replaced the 2 by our bed, and fixed the issue! they would work occasionally or very slow charge at best. If we had 2 things charging at the same time you could count on it no working. I bought 2 of them on Amazon for $10 and took about 20 minutes to install.

would you mind posting link or what you searched for? I have two that have the green lights but don't charge well or at all. Thanks

Went with these so I had 2 usb and one USB-C for anything in the future. 2 wire connection with a power on/off button and hidden screws.
