We have a 2018 Vegas 24.1. Heading out on a trip where destination has no water (we found public dump station nearby, and power is on site). Wanting to fill with fresh water. Is there an easy drain that I can use to eliminate exisiting water without sending it through grey water tank? Sorry, we are so new to this all.

There should be a fresh water tank drain. I don’t have your model, but mine was located below the tank. The valve was in the storage compartment directly above. I imagine you should have something similar. Turn the valve knob inline with the hose and water should drain.

yes, the drain is under the bed on left side (when facing the rear). lift up the hatch under the bed and you will see the controls for managing the water flow. see the water storage tank, at the bottom of the tank there are two hoses, the one on the right is blue and makes a 90 degree turn and goes through the floor. open the valve on that line and it will drain out under the rv. be sure to close it when done.
you must not have seen felker's manual, check it out, here is a link

I've never drained my 24.1 nor do I know where it is.
If the drain valve isn't leaking I SURE wouldn't try messing with it.
They can be a bit fragile.

I don't know of any state where running clear water on the ground is illegal.
I'd use my outside shower to drain the tank.

Hehe. Just stirring the pot (of boiling potable water).

I know.
But most of the people who read this thread won't even bother to open your link.
So few are here are really interested in help or helping I thought I might synopsize.

I'm pretty sure we'll get a counter to both of us about an obscure Canadian law north of the circle and how dare we make our responses all practical or fun.

Yes, I have that RV. Open the passenger side rear bun space up by pulling up the mattress and thin wood cover that adjoins the refrigerator wall. Look down into that area and you will find a fitting at the bottom of the plastic tank, with a valve you can turn and the water will run out underneath the coach. If you need a photograph I could post one.
