I am looking to get a keyless door lock for my 2024 Vegas. It's 12* here today so I didn't want to go out and measure (LOL). I did a search here and all I could find was some post about RVlock making one, but no one claiming they finally did, and they bought and installed it. Thanks for any help.

Lots to consider on a replacement lock. Outside dimensions are the least important. You need to remove the lock and check inside opening dimensions. Also need to consider how the inside panel bits coincide with the screen door opening and slider.

Good luck in your quest!

I too have looked at the Atlas, but I'm not sure it fits. RV Lock.com has a online form for Rv's that will show which locks fit various models but I have yet to hear of a Vegas / Axis owner who has installed one. Anyone here on the forum, please chime in if you have some good information, thanks.:thumb:

No guarantees from me, but from looking at pictures of the Vegas, you have the same door lock we had on our Aria. The Atlas fit with a very minor amount of trimming on the inside frame and works great. Check the measurements shown on the RV locks site for lock to door edge to be sure.

Hello, m1noel, thanks for the feedback; I did notice on RV Lock's fitment guide that they mention a calibration device that is supposed to be in the door for their lock to fit properly.
I have checked but I'm not sure my coach has one, or perhaps it simply looks a bit different; I know Thor and many other manufacturers use common parts like door locks across models and lines, but I want to be sure of fitment before I purchase. Thanks again, safe travels!

The calibration bolt is located just under the door lock on the door. Mine was covered with black tape.

We have a 2022 Axis 24.3. It does not have the calibration device. At this point we have pretty much given up. We even looked at remote deadlocks as an option. The problem was that there was not enough clearance between the door and the screen door for the deadbolt mechanism. For us cutting the screen is not an option.

I totally agree, I'm not inclined to cut into my screen, or try to fit a square peg in a round hole.:thumb:

Just received my Atlas 2nd Generation Digital Lock (have been waiting for 3 years for this unit to be designed and manufactured). Will be installing this weekend, looks very well made and easy to install. Suggest you send them an email to confirm that it will fit your newer model Vegas. will update the thread after the installation. Best of luck!

Installed the new RV Lock-Atlas 2nd Generation lock on my 2018 Vegas yesterday! This was not difficult and made easier as the manufacturer has provided a video to view and recommend watching prior to installation. Total time including programming lock and key fobs (two are provided) took about 1/2 hour. Note this is what RV Lock calls a universal digital lock for some Class A rigs. This is shipped in the configuration that fits the Vegas/Axis door right out of the box. Love the lighted keypad and the USB-C connection to recharge the internal battery. Very high quality unit that works!
