vented dryer add on

I am in the process of buying a 2012 Redwood rv .Does it come with a vent for the dryer built in, or am I going to have to add 1? The next question is is there a company that makes a ventless dryer?

Yes there is a vent installed but only if you order the washer/dryer option, and yes there are ventless dryers but they are not very efficient, splendede is one brand.

I'd be leery of a ventless dryer. The moisture has to go somewhere so if it isn't being vented outside the trailer, it must be staying inside. Moisture can wreak havoc in a travel trailer, especially if it isn't used regularly.
If you add the washer and dryer after the trailer is built the vent will be white. No big deal if you aren't getting full body paint but noticeable if you do.

The ventless Splendide condenses the water while drying and sends it down the drain. Everyone I've talked to says to go with the vented model. We have the Combo Splendide in our Montana and love it and it works fine as long as you don't over load it.

Mine got added too late so the dealer installed it for me. The vent cover is chrome so it does look good.

Hope you weren't there when they cut that HUGE HOLE in the side of your brand new baby. I know I couldn't watch when we had ours installed in the Monty and it was over a year old at that time. Had the Factory do it this time.
