Washer/Dryer-Stackable

The stackable Spendide Ariston W/D are $1627 at Camping World sothe dealer ischarging you about $900 labor to install the two which I think is high. If it were us I think we would look at Sears/Home Depot/Lowes at their stackable units since they include installation in most cases. Other than cutting a hole for the vent it is the same as installing a W/D in your house. Do you have a CW close enough to see what they would charge you to install them if you bought from them?

I agree with Hunter11. We went to Sears outlet & found Maytag units. Total cost $1300. Found RV repairman to install at a cost of $65. Very pleased with end results.

Unless you are living in your RV why would you want a washer and dryer? We were on the road for sixty days this past summer and did laundry about six times, total cost about $36. For $2,500 you could do about 70 loads of wash or buy something really cool and save the weight

A dryer would be nice to have for the wet swim suits / pool towels / shower towels. Not a whole lot of places to dry stuff inside during those humid / rainy days and nights. I could do without a washer for a week or two.

I have an opportunity to get a used combo unit for $600 cash, and am debating on it. It would be a nice feature-- even though we could easily get by without. We are also considering the work-camper thing for next year too. I know the 2012s like mine come roughed in for one, I could do the rough in myself and only pay for material. Any thoughts or suggestions?
