Water leak

Hey, Im happy with our 36RL, but can someone tell me where the water leak under shower door is coming from?. Had it at service, and leak is still there. Help!

The water is coming past the weather strip,on each end, at each side of the plastic weather strip, at the thershold. just put a little clear silcone in each corner.

I'll bet you you're going to get mold and mildew by doing that. Easier fix is to take your towel and dry it up.

John8545, My FB leaked bad....When I looked at each end of the shower on the bottom I could see through the door rails and feel and see water running out from underneath the rail tself....The dealer agreed and resealed the bottom of the shower both sides between the rail and shower fixture and then sealed on both ends.....No probems since. If you want to chek after drying the area you can pour a glass of water in the rail and watch it poor.

Mine does the same. I told dealer to seal it and it still leaks. Personally I think that it should be sealed on the OUTSIDE ONLY. That away when water gets in the frame of the door it can drain back into the shower and the air can still get to it to help dry it. Now I have to dig put all the caulk the dealer put in and seal up the outside. Just a thought.

I think you're looking at this all wrong. Some say they have a leaking shower, I say I have a self cleaning bathroom floor. Every time I take a shower my floor gets a bath!

My 2013 36RL shower leaked the very afternoon I took delivery on it. The dealer had caulked the entire side rails where the glass meets the walls. Took another shower...still leaked. After further looking, we found that you could see daylight under the door frame where it meets the base of the shower. Dealer caulked on the outside of the frame all around the base....no more leaks. This is an installation issue that needs to be addressed at the factory as they are not sealing the frame around the shower properly when building them.

Our 2013 36RL has had the very same leak since day one.

We had the same issue with the shower.I caulk inside and outside of our shower too.I believe there should be a gasket under the bottom rail.36rv12Blackwood.

We are stationary campers for the time being and take showers everyday…long ones since we have a sewer line. No leaks since day one almost two months ago. I think that those of you who travel, the racking of the coach on the road loosens the seal allowing the leaks to occur. Just a thought.

Our 34SK sits stationary in MI & hasn't ever leaked!
