Water lines

New to me 289qb model. On rear of unit I have two water ports. 1 city connection ans .2 spray port. Problem : spray port has quick connect and hose connect .. no water through hose and can't find off/on valve for said port ... question:: where is it or does it work only when connected to city??? Thanks

The model year might help, the makers often change things year to year.
Also a picture would be a big help.
Are you sure that you aren't referring to the black tank flush port?
