I have a four winds 2021 28z the shower has low pressure with City water hookup. When I use the tank with pump pressure is fine .I’m using a 40- 50 pressure regulator. Which I’ve used in previous travel trailer with no issues. Purchased a brand new one same problem. Is this a class c issue can I eliminate the regulator. Should I purchase an adjustable one ? Any suggestions appreciated.

Are you having issues with any city water hookup or just a specific one?

While a regular is good for making sure the water pressure is at a desired level, it won't make up for a water supply that has poor pressure (<40 PSI).

If you know you have a city water supply capable of 50 PSI and are having issues, I would look at the city water inlet and the check-valve for restrictions.

Well it’s not a class C thing. If you’re getting good pressure and flow on the pump but not on city water it’s clearly not a shower problem. I’d start by examining your city water inlet. There probably is a screen in the fitting that might be clogged and then there is a one way valve the could, I suppose, be damaged or stuck. Do you have a filter on your inlet. If so try removing it. Also, 45 - 50 is on the low side. I have an adjustable regulator and have it set to about 55. My flow on city water is less than on the pump too but in my case it’s still adequate.
