Water pump problem

At our campground the water pressure isn’t good. So I filled up the fresh water tank, cleaned the sediment filter near the pump. Opened faucets, turned pump on, have water shooting out of the city water fill location? The pump is working? We’ve never had this happen before? Any ideas? Thanks!

the check valve at the city water connection didnt close. try putting water pressure back on it or it may just need replaced.
