We've been RV'ers for over 30 years now but we just bought our first Thor. Do any of you ever have meet ups or caravan together? Are there monthly gatherings anywhere in Georgia where you all hook up and relax at different camp grounds, etc? Looking to hit the road!

Mudflaps

Hope you enjoy your new Thor. There is a group called the Mudflaps www.mudflapscampingclub.com that get together. Mainly from S GA, S AL and NW FL. Our next scheduled campout is at Ft Pickens on Pensacola Beach to watch the Blue Angles fly, 11/7 and 11/8 but most are getting in early and checking out on Monday. They are a lot of fun and many lies told. The only complaint is you eat too much especially in the dessert portion of the meal.

There are several camping organizations; Good Sams, FMCA, and others that have group camps.

Good Sams for instance usually has state groups that have one or two "Samborees" a year, and typically have local chapters within each geographical area within those state groups having 10~20 members or more that often have monthly camps.

The quality and friendship of these organizations can vary though from locale to locale.
