Hi Folks,
Thank for the welcome! Lots of great info/tips here. You're all fantastic.
We'll be taking a video camera for the PDI. This is our 3rd 5er - both Carriage Cameos but they're all different.
Does anyone know the dimensions of the rear compartment? Will a milk crate fit in there? I really would like to get one of those power cord reels!
Thanks!...rex

Congrats --- remember to start and stop the video for each 'System" so it's easily referenced later...

Shoulda ordered the cord reel :)
or they can be added aftermarket like in our driver side basement...

I am not 100% sure, but I don't think a milk crate would fit.

I am 100% sure that a milk crate will not fit. More like a 'bread crate' that the bakeries deliver bread to stores in. I think it's no higher than 6 inches.

Nope - the milk crate definitely does not fit

It's easy to see now that we had WAY to much stuff in the 33 ft Carriage. Where the heck did it all fit?.... PDI and moving stuff from one rig to the other took all day

Rex
We had the same thing. After our PDI we had both trailers parked side by side and started moving everything out of our 30' into the RL I could not believe the amount of stuff we had and where the DW had everything stashed. Took all day to move as well.

Yep....I always laugh when I hear the salespeople say that people really don't carry much weight.

A couple of months ago I was helping one of my sons negotiate a deal on a small toy hauler. I pulled him away from this particular dealer (Camping World) when the salesperson said that 1100 lbs was enough ccc for a toy hauler.
