I sit here with a winter storm bearing down on us again. 55 mph wind gusts with wind chill being recorded at -10 and dropping, tomorrow is supposed to be -35. My Redwood, which is my emergency shelter is still at the service center so I feel very vulnerable. Our lights have been flickering for quite a while but so far, although the satellite tv went out everything else is still working.

The Redwood is due to be back home next week and our grandson is due within a few weeks too. Then I'll be free to roam the country again in search of a beach and a tall drink.

Be safe and stay warm! It's bearing down on Texas also! We might have to just head further south to get warm! What a winter!

It is going to be 72 and sunny here in Tucson. I will sent warm thought your way!!

Come South West, Indio will also be in the low/mid 70's. Yesterday was about as bad as it gets - high overcast and even a couple of droplets of water from the sky, wouldn't classify it as rain though.

Fortunately normal weather pattern has resumed with a great sunrise, blue sky and a light breeze.

Dave - Congratulations on the impending Grandkid.

Dave, come join us in South Florida when you get your coach back...we are at 75º right now with sunny skies!

Yesterday was in the low 70s and sunny here in Dallas. Today it's very cold and windy. I'm with you in wishing for warmer weather, some sand and a cold drink!

Maybe this will warm you up just a little?

And depressed cuz I'm not there !!!

Or is that the idyllic lagoon from The Beach where the tranquility is broken when the new age fisherman realize the sharks eat them when they go in the water ?!? :)

Sitting here in Tucson it's been 75/78 for sometime now and its giving 81 for thursday. However we are supposed to get down to 70 next week brrr

Grand kids are the best thing invented:)

Dan - hoping you get those temperatures back up to the high 70's or 80's by the following week when we arrive in Mesa.

A meagre 70 is rather chilly after the heatwave we are experiencing.

Spending another day at Lazy Days in Tucson before heading to Texas. After 6 weeks in the 70's, 50' seems pretty cold.

We are on our way from RGV to Gulf Shores(Bad timing on our part). Got into Iowa, La. Monday evening on a planned stop over. Spend yesterday hunkered down and will do the same thing today. Hope to get on the road tomorrow. I-10 closed in many places. Would have stayed in RGV if we had not been meeting friends.

We are heading over to Lazy Days on the 10th for our 1 year check up. Now that the RV park is a KOA, do they treat you any differently?

Only 2 days here but everything except laundry is as good or better than my previous stays. Laundry facilities were nasty, DW complained loudly and appears they are addressing that. Wifi the same hit and miss.
