winterizing icemaker

We have a 2024 Crossroads Hampton, floorplan 372FDB. This fall will be the first time will be the first time we'll winterize a camper. It has a Samsung residential refrigerator model RF18A5101SR which has a SPACE Compact Icemaker. We would appreciate advice on how to winterize the icemaker. On line searches talk about a possible button on the bottom or front that allows the antifreeze to flow into the icemaker. We don’t see one. FWIW, we have located the water line to the refrigerator with shut off valve under the kitchen sink. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer!

Instead of adding antifreeze to the ice maker, can you blow out the lines with a low pressure air compressor?

Possibly. But when we bought the camper there was antifreeze in the ice bin. Not sure how it got there!

I'm not a fan of having anti freeze in my fresh water system.
You can fill it Vodka. That will work and it should be tasteless.

We got our 2024 Hampton on site last month, same fridge. we bring ice if we think we'll need it. Camper was fully winterized right off the lot. Our set up guys made sure the fridge water line was valved off as we informed them we had no intensions of using the ice maker. Our Micro is right next to the fridge in our 388FKL and the guys accessed the valve through the side of the lower cabinet next to the fridge. These Hampton's are unbelievable!!!!

We have a Frigidaire refrigerator and I blow out the lines. To do the ice maker I empty the ice bin then using the water dispenser in the door blow out any water in the lines. Then I just leave the air connected overnight to blow thru the ice maker and clear it. As the ice maker cycles the air will clear it. Then the next day I check the ice bin and it is usually is empty.
If not then I just leave the air connected and give it a few more cycles. It makes ice every 30 to 40 min. When all is clear I turn off the air. The refrigerator stays on all the time. This is just what works for me as my camper is stored at our house.

Thanks for the replies. Our refrigerator does not have a water dispenser, only an ice maker. We have found the water line to it with the shut off valve. It's under the kitchen sink.

If your unit is in FL during the winter I wouldn't think freezing would be a concern.

Just in case someone looking for the test button on their icemaker finds this thread in the future, I wanted to post a photo of where ours turns out to be. On the bottom front if the icemaker there is faint text that says TEST SWITCH. If you slide your finger under the icemaker at the arrow before the T in TEST less than an inch, you'll find a small button. I hadn't felt it when searching there, and didn't feel it until someone showed me.
