Wiring Problem?

I have a strange problem in my Thor Tellaro 20L. When I have my stove burning and turn on the microwave the flame slowly dies out on the stove. It seems like when the microwave is turned on, the propane solenoid closes cutting off the gas supply. I don't understand how this can happen. The fuse is not blown.

Me either- my 20L does nothing like that at all. The stove has a 12VDC igniter/ solenoid valve, and the microwave is 120VAC.
Need more info.
Are you using the inverter for the microwave, or are you plugged into shoreline? If batteries are low on charge, I guess it's possible that the solenoid valve could close if using inverter for microwave. Plug into shoreline and see if problem persists.

I was on battery when I first noticed it but I duplicated it on 120V when I got home.

I would guess faulty solenoid then? Would need a LP gas tech to test that. Loose wire too...???
Those should not be related- try running stove w/o M/W (or any other 120VAC device) on and see how long it goes. Running anything 120V should not affect any 12V devices.
Could be dead battery too- so check those.
What does BMPro show for battery voltage? Mine was very inaccurate.
You can also test battery voltage by opening driver's side headrest, remove cover for Combimaster and check battery voltage there.
Low battery voltage could do that, even if plugged in. If they are dead, the Combimaster won't be able to charge them.
Very mysterious.

It does it on both battery and plugged into 110V.

Check the coach/cabin battery- my impression is that since the propane solenoid is 12VDC, it needs enough charge to work- so if battery is dead, then it cannot charge, and cannot operate any 12V devices.
Could also be a bad switch/wiring - pull cover off switch underneath and see if anything is off/loose/disconnected?

An update on this problem. I did more testing and discovered that the fact that the burner went out when the microwave was turned on was a coincidence. When I turn on the stove, the flame goes out after 30 seconds or so if the microwave is turned on or not. Something is causing the fuse to blow but I haven't figured out why yet.

Probably a loose wire somewhere- trace from outside switch to solenoid. Loose wire could be on switch too so open that up from underneath to inspect. Let us know what you find.
Low voltage could possibly also cause a fault like that as well I suspect.

Thanks. I'll check that out and get back to you.
