Zinger TV outlets

Hi all, our new 2023 Zinger is set up in 2 places for a TV. Both places have a Winegard coax connection and both have an outlet that looks like 120V.
My question is if you wanted a 12V TV, are those outlets setup to work as either 12V or 120V like thru a transformer?

Not that I'm aware off. They would have a plug socket for a 12 volt plug. Or use a converter off the 115 for the tv.

If they did put a converter off the 115 line at those outlets, would it measure 12vdc? I’m asking because not being connected to AC, the outlet is not measuring anything.

If it is a standard-looking outlet, then it's going to be 120-volt I'd bet. Especially if you're NOT connected to shore power and it registers ZERO volts. I don't know of any current RVs that would have a hybrid plug that offers 120 and/or 12-volt.

Generally (at least as far as I'm aware) any 12-volt capable TV is going to have a power cord with an inline converter that steps 120-volt down to 12-volt.

If the step down from 120ac to 12vdc is built into the TV plug, then in order to run a 12v tv dry docking, it seems that you would need an inverter to step up battery voltage to 120ac and then let the TV plug bring it back down, correct?
I am mostly trying to understand how this all works. Thanks in advance

You mentioned that you have two Winegard coax connections. Are theses the the ones also called Antenna Power Plate? Some also call these the Booster. I have seen these before and there is a connection a coax from the TV as well as a Satellite connector on the face. The Satellite is wired direct from a connector on the outside of the trailer to the Plate. The one that is marked TV is also used as your Cable connection. There is a button next to it. Press the button and if the light is on you are getting TV from the antenna if the light is off you are getting TV from the Cable connection.

In that plate there is a round hole about 3/4" in diameter and looks like the old cigarette lighter hole in your car. This is for a hook-up to a 12Vdc Television. This plug is wired for 12Vdc not 120Vac.

On my trailer there is an electrical plug next to the TV and is the same as the household receptacle for 120V. The TV only works when plugged into shore power or the generator. If you do have a 12Vdc TV, it will work on shore power as do all your 12Vdc outlets. If you are boondocking the TV will work directly from your battery.

Read your TV manual to find out if it is 120Vac or 12Vdc and this will tell you what type of plug in you are looking for. There are some 12Vdc TV's on the market but seem to be rare and usually for the RV and Marine market.
