Bedding

With three of us in a queen sized bed: Papa bear, Momma bear, and our 4 legged 50# fur bear; Has anyone tried Beddy's All in One Zipper Bed Set, Bedding Mattress Cover, Minky Lined Sheets and Zipper Comforter Set?

We actually considered going this way simply because of the headaches of trying to get a fitted sheet onto the head of our mattress... NOT easy. But we choked on the prices on those.

I Hook the bottom end then slide the matrass down so I can reach the top to hook the top.

I might add that on top of the POS thin OEM mattress, I have a 3" gel foam pad and then a mattress topper. I just added that last fall in addition to adding 6" to the top of the mattress, and adding 4" (couldn't get 6") to frame. I can't wait to sleep in this new configuration in the spring.
Only thing left is good bedding that will stay put all night!

Sounds like our sleeping arrangement, too!

What we did was use a fitted RV queen bottom sheet with a king size top sheet & blanket/comforter. Less expensive than the fancy zipped together affair yet it gives us plenty of coverage. No more tugging at the covers trying to keep warm...

Do you pin the tops together? Our top sheet/blanket/comforters tend to walk in opposite directions!

My wife found the beddys sheets when our kids were little. They are expensive but they have held up well over the years and yes, we have a queen sized one on our RV matress. They can be hot (which is good for cold weather camping) but I feel like it's worth the investment!

That is why we need a 'Like' button here. The routine to go thru the 'Thanks' is too much.

We used to use Beddys, but have since switched to QuickZip bedding. It’s much easier to change out the fitted sheet portion because it unzips from the part that wraps around the mattress. I had to fight with the mattress only one time.

Nice idea, but the bottom sheet is the least troublesome of the bunch. QuickZip bedding does not solve the problem of being coverless in the middle of the night due to 'fur baby's' shifting positions (or the wife's either )

Our daughter put these on all of her kid's beds, and the Queen sized guest bed. When we visit I've noticed that:
1. They are very warm, great in winter, not so much in summer.
2. When my husband rolls, the blanket goes with him if unzipped (I don't like to sleep zipped up)
3. When the 4 legged lays in the middle the middle pulls in and not enough blanket coverage for the 2 legged sleepers.

In our RV we put a regular sheet on, and in winter we have a set of flannel sleeping bags on top of the sheet, zippered at the bottom and lower edges. In warmer weather we use a King top sheet and comforter so we all have plenty of coverage. Our Boxer likes being on top of all of it, with her own blanket to cover her during colder nights.
I choked on the prices of the Beddy, so we'll settle for the daughter's sets when we visit her.
