Welcome to our Campfire!
Lots of folks in here have added solar panels; I'm just not one of them...
But I have been researching them..
Renogy seems to pop up as a good place to start
Zamp is another
So Happy Shopping!

Our 2019 Thor Windsport is also wired for solar as well. I think we are going to go with a single 100 watt portable panel from Renergy. This way if we park under trees in a shady area we can move the panel out into an open sunny area.

Welcome, Nelson! You've found a great resource with a great group of friendly folk.

Start using the Search function (in the 1st brown bar from the top of each page). You've got a lot reading ahead of you but let me give you a sample from a quick "solar install" search: http://www.thorforums.com/forums/f10...rt-15456.html#

My 2107 ACE 30.1 pre-dates when Thor started supplying "solar ready". However from reading what others have posted on "solar ready" Thor isn't being very honest. From what I glean from the various posts all you get is a pair of undersized wires and no panels or solar controller. I'm not sure what size of solar system Thor is thinking they are supporting, but it doesn't sound like much. I'm thinking you might be able to support 100 watts of solar, but not a lot more unless you wire the panels in series and use an MPPT controller.

I added solar on our rig about 2 years ago. I went very robust on the wiring - going with 8 gauge cable that I routed down the refrigerator vent and then down into the storage compartment below and then across the belly compartment to the driver's side compartment where I located a Bogart SC-2030 solar controller. I have 200 watts of solar on the roof, wired in parallel, with plans to add another 400 watts. The SC-2030 is a PWM controller that works with my Trimetric battery monitor. However it can't take the voltage that wiring panels in series can generate. I chose not to use a MPPT controller because of the compatibility with the Trimetric, plus I didn't have a need to install a ton of power. The SC-2030 can handle 400 watts of solar which I think is enough for me.

Wiring in series can let you get by with smaller cables if you use an MPPT controller,, but you also have the potential kill the power from the entire string of panels if one is shaded, or if one goes bad. I chose parallel wiring with big cables.

My Tiffin is listed as "Solar Ready"... no controller; but it does have all of the wiring taken right to the panel where you'd plug in the controller.
(And add the panels up top... )

Ditched the GoPower 10 amp for a Zamp 30 amp controller. Probably should have done an MPPT controller but wanted to fill in the same footprint. They're most likely from the same factory.

I have a 160w Renogy and two 190w Richsolar panels. Was thinking about trying another brand as well.
