Looking for long term camping spots
All
I have a friend going through cancer treatments in the Burleson, Texas area that is needing a long term rv spot. We are giving him our 34ft Jayco to use while he completes his treatments. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated

his hospital staff will know.
It's a very common question.
Some hospitals even have RV hookups on site.

Most all campgrounds...and especially since covid...have a certain number of sites they rent long-term. Finding one close to a hospital will be the bigger challenge. I've seen a few hospitals that have 1 or 2 sites on their complex but they limit the stay to just a day or two for distant family visitors...not long-term living.

Most parks offer monthly rates that are significantly cheaper than daily

You are a great friend. I looked at trip wizard and not many parks close by. There is a JellyStone which is the closest to Burleson. How many miles away will work. Large centers like White and Methodist should have a few sites.

My cousin is a pastor and has offered to let me park in the church parking lot when I am in town. If I were you, I would have your friend contact churches close to the hospital and see if they would be willing to let him set up out of the way.

RV Parky has 2 campgrounds listed for Burleson, Texas. Neither have 'good' reviews. As mentioned, I would ask the health care provider for suggestions.

There is a RV park in Carrollton which is about 30-25 minutes from the hospital district, if the cancer treatments are in Dallas. It is called Sandy Lane RV & Mobile home Park. Mansfield, Tx has a park called Texas RV ranch if the treatments are in Ft. Worth. However they tend to have a waiting list.

His treatments are in the Burleson area or he currently lives in the Burleson area?

Sandy Lake is in my neck of the woods, I think too far for Burleson, Texas though.
For OP have you tried these?

They are all in Burleson, TX. I may have to try that North Texas Jelly Stone myself for a weekend getaway.
