River View RV Park & Resort in Louisiana

We are currently staying in the River View RV Park and Resort campground in Vidalia, Louisiana. What a beautiful campground! It is spotlessly clean, and the campsites are spacious. It is located right on the Mississippi River, and has a mile long concrete walking path that borders the river. Everyone was out and about this evening walking, playing with their dogs in the dog park, playing with their kids on the playground, or just visiting with their neighbors. If you ever find yourself in this area I highly recommend staying here!

I wholeheartedly agree, Pam. We stayed there in February of 2022 and thought it was great. Spacious, clean, affordable, and right on the water. No need to look anywhere else if wanting to camp in the area.

Ironically, we are booked there on 4/21 for 2 nights on sites 132 & 134 (133 is blocked off so we get it also for free) on our 2nd campground stay into our Wild, Wild, West Tour. Looked like a great place. Be sure to cross over the bridge and have a cool one at the "Under the Hill Bar". Nachez, MS is the oldest settlement on the Mississippi River. Lots of crazy history under that bridge.
