I had one that came on the popup camper we used to have. Used the low pressure LP plumbed in the camper.
It was nearly worthless. The low pressure side...and maybe it was the grille itself too... didn't put out nearly enough heat.

so based on that experience I wouldn't do it.

The tank in my RV is on the small side anyway and i'd just assume save that gas for the fridge, water heater, and occasional indoor stove

A few years ago I was just about ready to get a weber Q. I've read tons of raving reviews about them.
I figured the portability with something like that gives so many more options too... as opposed to being tied to the length of your hose.

In the end, I just bought a simple charcoal grille...and I'm glad I did. Saved money, saved some weight, & I think they do a better job than gas....and when I'm going to grille, usually I'm not in any big hurry anyway.
