I don't think that it is that unusual for RV centers to not want to perform the periodic maintenance on the chassis. Most of them are so backed up with RV non-chassis related maintenance and warrantee work that you can't get an appointment for weeks or months. I would rather see them use their time to fix things that I can't get fixed at the Ford dealer. Except for major milestones, I have my oil changed and lube at a local oil change spot. Luckily, the Axis fits into a lot of those. Cheaper, easier to find and you don't need an appointment. I'm generally a thousand miles from home anyway.
