Water pump and water heater

Just de-winterized yesterday. Found the water pump not working. Blown fuse. Replaced the fuse and it works, except I cannot turn the pump off. It stops when the system is properly pressurized but will not turn off manually. Worked fine when I put it up for the winter. Just got it back from the dealer where other work was done.
Thoughts?
Water heater turns on in gas mode, then shuts down and the fault light on the control panel comes on. Runs for 20 seconds or less. Works fine on electric.
Thoughts?
Naturally we are leaving on a 6+ week trip in the AM, do not have time to return to the dealer. Neither problem is serious enough to delay the trip, just limits ability to dry camp.
