Hellwig order problems anyone else had same?

So I order a Hellwig rear anti-sway bar thru Amazon.
The vendor is Southern Car Parts.

The first box shows up awhile ago, minus the actual sway bar.

Southern Car Parts was responsive in emails, stating a replacement was on the way.

It arrived today, and again, NO SWAY bar!

Based on the scuff marks and indentations inside the box (in the shape of the sway bar) are clearly evident.

I can't even begin to speculate who/what/why/how this is happening.

Anyone else have issues with Hellwig? I'm not even sure who is accountable for the issue!

I think you should probably take up these issues with Helwig or Amazon, this is a forum for Thor RVs.

Is the box undamaged?

The box is damaged and repaired with tape.
I posted this just to get an idea of how often this happens.

You might want to get a refund and try to purchase it from another supplier.

I have gotten Hellwig Sway Bars before and the boxes have been heavily damaged. Fortunately, I have not had any missing parts but I could see how the box gets damaged from the size and weight of the bar and the bar or other parts could get lost in transit.

I would also call Hellwig directly. I have dealt with them and they have been very responsive and helpful. I had a bolt come loose and asked them the size abd they sent me the entire hardware pack at no cost.

You can / should also file a claim with UPS / FedEx. They will ask for pictures and the box codes to make sure the carton was strong enough for the weight and size of the items. The shipping company will then work with the company who shipped the products.

Supplier rated at 72k of auto suppliers on Amazon. You got what you paid for. Suggest you check supplier ratings whenever you order something.

Take the issue up with Amazon and the supplier. This is not a Thor issue.
