Jensen JWM1A - Turn off LED Display

Have the above radio in the bedroom and the attached manual. Nowhere, in the manual, does it instruct how to turn off the LED display. After 3 years ownership, I've never used the radio. Still in all, I would like this off at night. I tried hacking at. No dice. I can yank the radio and disconnect the power if no one knows how to do it but would rather leave it in tack for any subsequent owner (yes, I tried the power button, LOL).

TIA

I got this!!!

Press & hold MODE/MENU
Once you’re in the MENU, then press each time until you get to LIGHT
Then use VOLUME to adjust dimmer
It goes from 0 to 9

BTW…on my rig with the Jensen,
- Aux Input 2 plays the outside speakers thru the outside TV
- So, with our Winegard Trav’ler + DISHnet, we can use the outside speakers for watching TV or listening to music channels. It helps because SEIKI is known for poor max volume
- of course, you can also Bluetooth the speakers thru your phone music Apps

Thanks. I tried that and I never get a menu. It just stays stuck on the current radio band. Maybe something broke in my travels. I went through Ohio and I swore the potholes would break my RV in half, along with other damage.

Thanks again.

Retraction: Got it to work, but not the way it was written (understood?). You hold the Mode/Menu button until the first option displays, then push to get the menu option you're lookng for, then use the volume control to change the value. It's all there, just not very clear.

Bottom Line: it's off.
