Wow! The end of an era. Probably due to cost cutting as now they don't have to make a different front cap from the other plant's coaches. Even more heat coming in that giant windshield.

That really looks weird for an ACE.

Yep when we first bought ours I kinda thought it looked weird. After having one for several years you kinda get used to it.

There aren't as many unique motorhomes as it appears... it's only an illusion. There's more "sister products" in the motorhome industry than GM had clones in the 1980s! Glue on a plastic panel and presto! It's a "different" car!

I like my ACE with a brow. Good storage in the brow area plus smaller windshield with less area for stone chips and cheaper to replace if needed.

The brow also shields from the hot sun when driving and parked at campsite.

Also water and melting snow off the roof does not run down the windshield.

It definitely simplifies construction...
I wonder if it helps with the fuel consumption numbers?

Yes I liked the brow also. It made the ACE a bit different from the others. I also haven’t been a fan of the drop down bed, only because we don’t have any need for it but I did like the storage that could be used as somewhat secure storage when the bed was up. If you look at dealers photos you also loose that since the brow is gone. The ACE 33.1 was probably going to be our next rv, but they no longer offer that floor plan either.
