Thor Tiburon slide issue

Anyone else have an issue with the slide breaking? Ours has done so twice. Fell off it's track and sheared the gear. Just wondering if this is a new issue or have they had issues in the past. OUrs is a 2021 Tubron TT. In the shop a 2nd time.

Slides are a necessary evil and sometimes a train wreck looking for a place to happen.

There have been reports from owners of other models having issues with slides being out of alignment from the factory, not assembled properly, roller issues, etc. when new. Quality control is not the best so you might have a one-time issue vs. a design issue as a result.

I would press the dealer for a root cause and what they are doing so it does not happen again. If you don't like their explanation, I would be making an appointment at the Thor Factory Service Center in Wakarua..... even though it looks like it would be a long drive for you. I personally would only trust them to properly resolve a major issue like this one and not a dealer.... especially if it ends up failing for a third time.
