Airstream Rangeline Class B On RAM Chassis

New Class B from Thor’s Airstream is similar to Sequence and Tellaro 20A, but with significant differences.

What’s most surprising is the advertised price in same range as Sequence/Tellaro.

I haven’t seen dimensions yet, but it appears that rear cross-coach bed is not as wide, allowing for a slightly larger bathroom. It’s hard to tell.

Pictures also show a (somewhat small) refrigerator at good elevation with microwave above that at an elevation that is neither too low at knee height or way up near ceiling.

It also has separate holding tanks (versus cassette toilet), a single 270 Ah Battle Born lithium battery, 2,000-Watt inverter, and Onan 2,800-Watt inverter generator.

It’s a little basic and low-cost for an Airstream van, but new Rangeline is a nice option to have. It seems well thought out from what we can see on pictures.

Informative video review from Hershey Show covering some of the unique features of this Airstream van camper. Segment starts at approximately 21:30.

I like that it does not have propane, rather relying on gasoline for heat and hot water; making this a single-fuel camper. It is a proven concept with diesel fuel, but not as popular with gasoline chassis yet. It will be interesting to see how well the Timberline heating unit performs.

Airstream kept appearance more “automotive” than most Class Bs by keeping exterior clean. Window vans are not ideal to heat and cool, but makes Rangeline look pretty nice to me.
