Outside 110 plugs Thor Fourwinds 2013

Are there any limitations to pluging things in the outside outlets. Silly question of course there are but how do I find out the limits any suggestions. Want to plug in shop size commercial air compressor. I quess I could plug it in and see if the breaker pops. not the most intelligent way to troubleshoot.

Well I think I may have found a answer if the outside outlet is on a 15am breaker than if pulls more than 15amp it will pop the breaker. Does this sound correct. tks all

Yep, 15 amps with no ground fault.

What is the amp draw on your compressor? It should be posted on it somewhere or in the owner's manual. Compressors usually have an initial surge as well. If the amp draw is 10A or less you should be OK. That leaves a little room for surge.

I run my big Kolbalt air compressor off of my outside plugs all the time. I would think with most compressors you should be okay.

The one I have says 13.5 Amps. It’s their 20 gallon one that goes up to 175max psi. Never used it that high but in theory it can.. I only plug it in to air up tires so not out there running tools with it.
