Shower Draining Slowly
The shower in our 2019 Palazzo 36.3 drains really slowly. I don’t see any visible blockage when I remove the small metal drain cover on the floor. Beyond that I don’t know where to look to see if something like hair is causing a clog.
Are there any chemicals I can pour down the drain that won’t ruin the plumbing?

Try a plunger or a snake to loosen the plug. I would not pour and chem. down to unplug it. There is usually a trap right below the drain that collects hair etc. A couple of hardy plunges with plenty of water usually loosens it up.

Chemicals may be the source of your problem if they were previously used.
Most RV showers don't use a standard u-trap: they use a reverse flow preventer drain valve, essentially a rubber membrane check valve, to allow drainage but prevent odors from the tank coming out of the drain.
If chemicals have previously been used they may have hardened the rubber and made it less flexible so it doesn't open as far. Only a drain disassembly will reveal the cause of your slow draining.

If you get an inexpensive bore scope it can be pushed down into the drain and it will let you see inside and take photos and video. You will be able to see any blockage or damage down there, they are sold in many different lengths. mine is waterproof and I use it for looking inside walls, inside ductwork, above tanks anywhere you can think of

Mine had a trap, I used a cheap drain snake plastic barbed device from THD, and what I got out was "amazing". Worked like a charm after the roto-roter'ing.

Mine has a basic pee trap as well. The way you can find out is to look in the storage compartment under the shower. Ours has a removable panel under the shower drain. Unscrew 4 screws. Panel comes off. Exposes pee trap& pipes. If pee trap, drain cleaner works.

IF it's a standard P trap the plastic barbed piece or snake can be used to clean a drain, however if it has the reverse flow preventer drain valve the 16ACE27 referenced, those tools will rip the guts out of it. Do not use. The reverse flow preventer is often used where there isn't the vertical clearance to install the P trap.

The idea is to look and see which he has before deciding the fix.

I agree but if someone isn't aware of a reverse flow preventer they wouldn't know to check or the issues with one.
