storage - slide in or out ?

When motorhomes sit for a while, the gremlins attack. If they attack your slide and it's out, the motorhome cannot be moved. If your slide is in, then you can still drive/use your rig even if the slide is not functioning.

Either way, there are videos on the site about how to disengage the slide mechanism and manually push it back in.
