Well I should be addressing you in full brogue, fearin' the screech of the pipes and honoring band dad. By history I am a McKeller on mom's side from with family from the north of Edinburgh. Seems we were bastards (literally) of the Campbell clan as the tartan has the equivalent of a barre' sinister in its pattern.
Helix has changed a lot. I went by recently just to peek, but nearly got caught in their anti car bomb driveway features.
Do you belong to an rv group or local organization of San Diegans that are dedicated to exploring?

Call Thor's customer service (email sucks), 877-855-2867 ext #2 then #1, and ask for the construction diagrams, have you last 8 VIN ready. The list I got from the forum was for a 2015 Vegas 24.1 but ask for your model, year and VIN. I don't know that the numbers matter (deleted) but the titles should be enough. It could take a couple of days to emailed back. Have fun. See you on the road!

Hiya kmhappel. Thanks for the contact. I'm a transplant since '81. I'm surprised but not really at the number of locals I know that are 10 miles from grade school. My parents moved us a bit, WVa, Ind, AZ, L.A. But I love La Mesa, the old suburban feel. My boys went to Helix, now quite diverse and zip code challenged. Their friends were a mini-UN. They were in the band, one in a skirt holding a sick cat under his arm and I was a band dad.

Hi gnash. I grew up in La Mesa on Tulare Street when all you could see were avocado trees from the hill south and east all the way to mt helix... in those days there was a Safeway and a B of A and La Mesa Lumber at the end of the CA & AZ Eastern spur on the SP tracks. I used to go to the caboose that housed the La Mesa train club as a boy. Graduated from Helix High in hte days when it was a national mathematics powerhouse and lots kids were children of Convair engineers who pushed the school to use link trainers (simulators) to teach drivers ed. Anyway HI from Vista in north county. thanks for the diagrams.
