Thanks for your reply re solar install in a 23H. I've tackled replacing the stock 950 watt converter and modified sine wave inverter with a reconditioned Aimes 1500 watt pure sine wave inverter, 3 stage charger/converter system including a LED remote panel. Quite the challenge but so far so good. Just short of $$$ so we're stuck with our 2200eu Honda generator for a few hours each early evening when not in state parks hooked to shore power until solar panels/charger early next year.

If time allows any photo's of what you installed where/how would be much appreciated. I've spent so much time under the RV running wire, etc. I know where each nut, bolt, wire is......so does my forehead.

Hi Bassman, Just got this message from you. We put out the $650 for a Magneshade cover for just our windshield on our Newmar Bay Star. It really helps block out the heat and you can see out of it too. Hope all is well.

I am a retired mechanic, started working on motorcycles and ended up with Caterpillar heavy equipment, I have owned 6 motor homes over the years, Dodge, GM, and now Ford, i bought a new 2017 Thor AXIS 25.4, 2,600 miles when delivered to the dealer here in southern California, i was concerned that the oil had not been changed after what Ford recommends on a new Vehicle, got the typical BS from the salesman when i purchased it so the first thing i did was head to Wal Mart and buy the Motorcraft oil filter and the Motorcraft 5-30 Synethic Blend motor oil, check your owners manual and follow it, never use any other oil filter then the Motorcraft filter, in the past using after market oil filters would cause the engine to knock after an oil change. oil and filter change on a regular bias is good insurance, I have had bad experience with the Mobil 1 synethic, follow what the owners manual recommends and you should see many good years with out problems
