Hood...OIC..I was under the misconception that the Vegas hood was completely detachable. Another part of the problem was that every single moving part of the hood mechanism was dry as a bone and needed oil. So nothing was moving as it should. Problem solved. Thank you...Johnny1943

Jamie -- did you post a schematic for the fuse box under the driver's seat in the storage compartment? If so, can you send it to my email -- bevedfelker@live.com

How you been doing with your tank monitor project?

I have been working on a microcontroller project and am using an ATTiny85.

The ATTiny85 might make a great tank sensor as there is no boot up delay with these chips like there is with a typical Arduino microcontroller.

So they are basically instant on.

But have an abbreviated command set, so not all functions that you find in a typical Arduino environment are supported. But there are a lot of people playing with these things and someone has a workaround for most of the limitations.

Nice thing is they are in a 8 pin package, and cost around a buck a piece at Chinese prices.

The 8 pin package means there are only 5 GPIO, 3 of which can be analog input, and two are PWM. Of course, they can all be used for digital I/O.

The project I have been working on I'll call a "Toad Management System". I have breadboarded it and tweaked it for the last couple of months. I suppose it might be a bit overkill, but what projects aren't?

Our winters in Southern Indiana are not as severe as in your area. Take a look at this cover from Camping world and tell me if this and tire covers would help. I will drive it at least each month, snow allowing, and am afraid traditional covers would be too difficult to take off and pout on frequently.

    What do you think?

What flush kit do you use? Does it work well?

Do you stabilize your AXIS like one would do with a camping trailer?
