Is there a way to increase the capacity of the overhead bunk? My 2016 has a capacity of 250 lbs. I am thinking of 2 temporary cross beams supported by verticle 2 x 4's, such as they use to hang drywall on a ceiling. I would place one on either side of the doghouse.

I am waxing my 2016 ACE 30.1 and noticed the driver's outside mirror base has peeling chrome. Is there anything to repair this or do I need to buy a new bracket?
