I have one duct that goes into my outside...

I have one duct that goes into my outside compartment where my water tank and water pump are located to keep them from freezing in cold weather. Looks like it might be the same for you.

The wood grate just pulls straight off for access...

The wood grate just pulls straight off for access to the furnace. Once it is off you can look around to determine where that hose needs to be connected.
