I expect the warranty is over, but maybe contact Thor and see what they say about this 'lack of quality control'. Then ask what is your best recourse with them.

Looking online at an Omni, the furnace appears to be located behind the grill. Remove that and maybe you can remove the bottom panel inside the cabinet for more access? Good Luck!
