I have had good luck with the AGM deep cycle...

I have had good luck with the AGM deep cycle batteries from Batteries plus Bulbs. They are not cheap. I always store the unit with an AGM specific battery maintainer.

Have you considered buying a small (dorm room) type refrigerator? Perhaps you could find a spot in the RV for it. They don't draw much current at 120 volts.
