I ran into a similar issue years ago while traveling on my Harley. I have to stop every 120 miles for gas and was on a long trip, third time I pulled in to get gas in the same day, my card was declined. I called the CC company and asked what was going on and they said it was a fraud deterrent, since it had been used so many times in one day. I told them I appreciate it but I wanted it removed because I don't want to HAVE to call when it happens again. I use my CC a LOT and I pay it off regularly so it wasn't a problem and they did as I asked. As far as the MH and fill ups, I try to use Pilot/Flying J because they don't have limits but if a station does, I just swipe it again, no biggie. Only thing that irritates me is, a lot of times mine will hold over $100 but not much, depending on how far I run it down, so when I swipe again and it holds less than $10 worth, it seems like a nuisance. I know I could just stop at the $100 limit but I just HAVE to know it's slam full before I take off again....you never know when that extra 3-4 gallons may come in handy!
