Nope, just need to add a SPDT switch to control the fan speed externally.

I used this Honeywell thermostat (just digital, non-programmable):

And something I just discovered last night when I was furnace lighting issues: With these thermostats you can run the furnace and the fan in the AC at the same time for better air circulation. WIN-WIN!
