If it was me, I wouldn't put any water in any tanks or lines until I hit warmer weather, and I mean temperatures that stay above freezing all the time until I reach my destination. Use water jugs, milk cartons filled whatever you have to use for flushing, washing hands, whatever. Use campground water for showering, it shouldn't take you more than two or three days to get far enough south to be in warmer temperatures.
