What year and how many miles? My 2016 F53 chassis class A went in for an alignment with 14,000 miles. The truck service center said it needed new king pins before it could be aligned. Said it would cost $1,800 including the alignment - about the same as your bid. I didn’t believe it could possibly have worn out the king pins in so few miles. According to the owners manual it wasn’t even due for its first chassis lube until 15,000 miles! So I took it to a Ford truck center and they said the king pins were fine and just needed lubrication. A short time later I had to take it to another ford dealer for an unrelated reason. While there I asked them to check the king pins and they also said they are fine. Bottom line, I’d get another opinion! But the price might be about right if it’s really needed. Good luck.
