The Fuel tank is smaller at 26 gal vs the Gas tanks of 55 gal. Again designed for the LP generator. If you had a diesel generator you would be stopping for fuel ever hour.
If its designed for LPG then i would leave it that way or else you will have other issues you didn't think about.

It’s 68 pounds of propane, not gallons. That’s a huge difference.
Compared to E-Series motorhomes with smaller propane tanks, but gasoline generators, yours has about 6 gallons of extra propane.
