And why I don’t do much with a camera on a drone... since I do sell some of my photography... may get the 107 one day, but do much more r/c plane flying than ‘drone’ flying.

To clarify the registration, recreational use require the pilot to register with FAA, but not the individual drones/aircraft. The pilot’s registration number must be on outside of each drone.

Commercial use (Part 107) has more stringent requirements including registering the drone.

Tiny stuff (I think under 8 oz) and anything flown indoors is exempt.
