unless your batteries are getting low, and your AGS is set to come on to charge them, there's no reason for the Generator to start if you are on Shore Power...

but... some things to consider:

- is your battery CHARGER actually ON?

- are your outlets working? The Inverter/CHARGER receives it's 120v power from one 'side' of your 50amp 240v power from Shore, and if you don't have both sides working, you could be without a Charging source, creating the need for the Generator to start to recharge the batteries.

- is your AGS 'ENABLED', or 'ON'?? If so, turn it to 'OFF', or 'DISABLED', which should certainly keep any automatic generator starting from happening. IF it still happens, then you don't have any issue with the AGS, but 'phantom' Generator starting has happened to others before.

also, what setting is your Inverter's SHORE MAX set to? if it is too low, such as 5 or 10amps, then your batteries may not be getting the AMPS from the charger to keep up with what you are using during the day, causing a low battery condition near the 4pm timeframe.
if you increase the setting to 50 or 60, you are then enabling the Charger to use as many AMPS as it can to keep the batteries charged.
The only drawback to higher amps for the charger is the possibility of tripping a breaker, if the charger is drawing a lot of amps at the same time other things are using a lot of amps, such as air conditioners or heaters, but chances are, if you are on 50amp RV service, you probably won't have any issue.
If you identify this as a problem, though, you can always dial that setting back to 40 or even 30amps to offset any breaker tripping.
