I thought I had a thousand words there.
Here's some pictures that may help. A couple showing where the noise starts ( at the gold stripe). I think that point may be the start of increased pressure on the vertical slide bar causing the noise( I think)Then pivot point that's making the noise ( where I added the lube to remove the stutter).
The pivot point is a hex bolt thru the arm with a rubber sleeve over the bolt on each side of the arm. I lubed the inside and outside of the rubber, the thirds of the bolt.
Can some one tell me how to turn the pictures, I'm on a Mac
