I haven't had any major issues with ours but it sort of sounds like it's hanging somewhere, maybe where it slides up and down as you run it in/out?
I know the front end of ours groans like you'd swear it's about to fall of the coach when I operate it. I've lubed it as much as I can but it's still noisy.
I'm sure you've already checked and lubed all of the pivot points and slide areas on the thing? Do you have awning lights on yours? Maybe they're shorting out when it rolls the canopy out?
