Interesting! I have, on occasion, looked at the joint between the shower hose and the main body and marveled at how small that is. I’m used to seeing a hose just go straight into it’s connection, not be reduced to a pencil-sized tube first. That tiny connector wouldn’t last a day with my family’s use, if the hose wasn’t secured with that restriction ring mounted on the shower wall a foot above.
Could you elaborate on what you did? Did you hollow out that connection more, replace it, etc?
Obviously, more water throughput means better shower experience, but quicker drain on the tanks (which arguably defeats the purpose of moving to a low flow shower head). But since it’s rare for us to RV without a water hookup, I’d seriously consider doing something like this.
