From my experience, there’s too much play in the OEM steering “damper”
So I replaced with a more robust $95 Bilstein damper that reduced steering wheel play.

Of course, others have gone with the $500 Saf T Plus stabilizer and are very happy with it.
The beauty of the STP (or Roadmaster brand) is the spring-action “return to center” feature. That is, make a right or left turn and as you come out of the turn your wheel returns to center assisting you in the drive to keep the rig straight.

Add a steering stabilizer, along with Anti-sways and Bilstein Shocks, and an E450 (or 350) drives like a full size SUV.
